This is actually an excellent idea. Also, I have some free time coming up
which I could conceivably devote to the preparation of such an RFC.

What should such a document contain? I would assume a summary of the
"Introduction to *.answers" document plus additional sections dealing with
issues not contained, one example being the ideal behaviour of news servers
with respect to the *.answers newsgroups. Any others?
