I am certain that all the readers of this list know the problems that
can happen when "replying REMOVE" to SPAM. However, I am not certain
that everyone knows about
www.spamcop.net
Since my email ID is listed in my FAQ (which is out on the WEB - in
several places), I do receive 2-10 (on a good day) pieces of SPAM. I
have found this a useful site for reporting such junk.
I believe that there are several other services that do the same thing.
This is NOT an "ad" for this service (which I only use the free portion
of) - but is intended to answer the person who asks "what to do" with
the note they received asking for their FAQ for his "manual".
