You can split up your FAQ in whatever way makes sense to you -- there's no
requirement that the parts be of similar sizes.

The only advisable restriction is that parts should probably be smaller than
64k, since there are still some Usenet sites that don't accept articles over
that size.

Really it's up to you. Some people like it, some people don't (personally
I think it's a good idea if you're going to split your FAQ). Perhaps you
could ask your readership what they'd prefer?
