I'm not doing anything but coding for the next few weeks, although I
don't know what the specific apps the moderators would like to have
improved. I'm not certain, however, that a HTTP interface would widen
the pool of potential moderators, if it disqualifies 75 percent of the
FAQ maintainers, including myself. Maybe some gnus-like interface (I
can almost hear the Mac and MS users moaning) would serve more
effectively. That would facilitate interacting with NNTP, SMTP, POP,
and UUCP servers. There are also SSH interfaces as well. Coding in
Perl, C, Emacs Lisp, Smalltalk, and bash shell dutifully and
cheerfully performed, however. So please let me know.
