Faq Server problems?

Last night (8/31 to 9/1 between 11:30 Pm and 12:10 Am EDT) I dispatched updates to the FAQ I maintain at the FAQ server at mit.edu.

The mail based message with proper headers and text were dispatched. No response came from the server (customary) noting that the update was accepted or rejected. This is unusual as the server either bounces messages or dispatches an acknowledgement that an update was accepted.

Its about 9 hours later on Weds morning 9/1 and no messages have come through either way - ie, mail did not bounce and no acknowledgement message.

Using a Mac FTP client called Anarchie I checked the FAQ archives at rtfm and it is still showing the old FAQ that I was trying to replace. I also noted that the files were displaying (at the directory) a date of Aug 6 which was probably the last time the FAQ server posted out.

Can someone check into this? At least that the autoposting server has the update and will post out?

I did the proper "UPDATE password directory" command string and about 30 minutes later sent a FORCE to reset the posting frequency clock which was getting off set.

Thanks
