A three-month wait for the FAQ approval?

Oh well... I submitted a FAQ two months ago, and now it seems I'll have
to wait for *at least* another month. I'm not really complaining, for I
know how Real Life travails suddenly leave one with no time for anything
else. Still, a three month delay does seem to be a tad excessive,
especially for a FAQ that has been put through the FAQ-checker and for
which the approval from the moderators of the one moderated group it's
crossposted to has been obtained.

My main concern is the fact that the FAQ with the old maintainer's name
and address is still in the rtfm archives, meaning that people may still
e-mail that person with questions and suggestions. This doesn't seem
fair to that person, considering that she gave up the FAQ for lack of
time of her own.

I know that you mentioned that training someone currently requires too
much time (again), but would it perhaps be possible to find volunteers
willing to take over some non-critical tasks that require little or no
training? Just a suggestion.

Victor
