David Alex Lamb just finished extensive archive maintnenance work.
The resulting messages aren't automated, though I certainly hope
they're form letters.
Just speaking as somebody who's had to do it before, my guess is that
when the archive maintenance scripts complained about your posting
lacking *.answers, he didn't notice the "monthly to news.answers /
weekly to a.b.p.j-g" in your posting frequency, and sent you an email
asking what was up. It's easy to miss one or two things like that
when you're going over many months' worth of problems.
Your posting is fine the way it is, and I've now marked it in our
records so your variable Newsgroups: header won't prompt a complaint
next time.
