I've just received an (automated?) email concerning (non-)posting of
my FAQ.

The thing is, I only post to news.answers once a month, but to the
target newsgroup once a week (there are times when I think a daily
posting might be in order, but I digress).

Now, my reading of the posting guidelines suggests this is perfectly
acceptable (nay, desirable) but I'm obviously triggering some sort of
alarm at MIT.

As a work-around, I'm proposing to change the title of the weekly
posting (so that the MIT system doesn't see a posting with the "wrong"
newsgroup list) but maintain the monthly posting and its full title.
I am hoping this will be acceptable to all parties.

I mention this here because I'm sure I can't be the *only* person in
this situation... can I?
