I am the FAQ maintainer of comp.sys.amstrad.8bit, there is a
question which appeared several times in this newsgroup : which
language can be used in the newsgroup ?
I always thought that english was the official language of comp.*,
rec.*, etc... The use of other language in the newsgroup is fine with
me if there is a translation or a resume in english (a question of
politness for me, to allow all readers to understand the message).
But some people want/can't only use their primary language, some
other states that I have not a proof of what I states (english official
language, resume or translation when other language used).
So what's the final answer (links to a document stating this answer
are welcomed) ? What is done in the newsgroups where you are
FAQ maintainer ?
