I always appreciate the positive mail I get. It let's me know my
work is being read. :-)

As for how I got started:

Somebody on alt.tv.snl asked for a list of Recurring Characters that the
SNL (Saturday Night Live) people played, so I started to collect a list.
Eventually I started collecting other information about the show. What
finally pushed me over the edge to write the SNL FAQ is when people re-
peatedly asked whether or not Steve Martin was one of the Not Ready
for Prime Time Players (he never was, he is the most frequent host).

My FAQ's:

Saturday Night Live
M*A*S*H (Mark Rosteck does the FAQ, I do the other parts and post it)
Gilligan's Island
List of U.S. and Canadian Game Shows
McDonald's Restaurant Themes (not official yet)
