People may be interested in knowing that after considering it for a
number of years, we're actually going through the steps of having this
mailing list hosted by a real mailing list server, which should mostly
eliminate the annoying bounces that many of you have seen returned to
your inbox undesireably when you send email to faq-maintainers. Other
desireable features (e.g., digests) should also be available.

When the new home is ready, we'll announce it to the -announce list
(and hence to here as well).

[In other news, I've just sent email requesting that questions which are not
particularly relevant to FAQ maintainers not be asked on faq-maintainers.]
