[faq-maintainers] Administrative requests in news.answers queue

You may or may not be pleased to know that as of now I am returning to
active moderation.

I've just taken a look at the incoming queue, and it's huge. I'm going to make
some effort over the weekend to clear it out -- since a lot of it is spam,
this might be easier than it sounds -- and process some requests.

As part of this, I'm going to take a slightly unorthodox approach. If there
is anyone who has a brief administrative request (change of From header,
change of numbers of parts, change of title, things like that) waiting in
the queue, could you please email me privately (not to the mailing list,
or to news-answers-request). You don't need to say what the request is, just
that it exists. I can then find it in the queue and deal with it: in this
way, I intend to have all checked submissions and all administrative requests
dealt with by the end of the weekend.

Cheers,
Nick

And the sound that comes to carry me across the land and over the seas.
