The easy way is to use the FAQ server at rftm.mit.edu, which is
mentioned in one of the news.answers documents -- ask again if you
can't find it. Share the password, and either maintainer can send an
update, force a posting, adjust the schedule, etc. The From information
in the actual posting comes from what you specify in the document you
send, *not* from the email via which you send the document, so it need
not even be either of the maintainers' addresses.
In fact, I do this with one of the sections of the diabetes FAQ, which
someone else wrote but which I put on the FAQ server. (Well, I actually
need to stop posting it too, as it's out of date and he isn't
interested in updating it I don't think ... but that's another story.)
