Strictly speaking the <URL:http://www.sample.invalid/> form is more correct
(and also makes it much simpler for agents to interpret what is part of the
URL and what's punctuation).
However, I don't think there's much of an issue. Most agents seem to be
pretty good at parsing URLs.
