# A poster should acquaint him/herself with all newsgroups before posting
# to them.

#
# The uk.* is not part of the big 8, the moderator of uk.answers should be
# consulted on any posting. Once he is satisfied the poster will be
# directed to also gain approval for posting to news.answers.
#
# These rules are pretty easy to find, there are (now) regular postings to
# uk.answers where pointers can be quickly found.
#
# For reference, the Charter of uk.answers is at:
Agreed, but the point still stands. Documenting a pointer to a page
describing extra requirements in the *.answers guidelines would be a
good thing. It would reduce any confusion and help the user along.
We are talking about verbage the size of this paragraph... Such as:
"If you would like to crosspost your FAQ to uk.answers, please refer to
http://www.usenet.org.uk/uk.answers.html prior to submitting your FAQ
to the *.answers monderation team. The moderator of the uk.answers
newsgroup needs to be consulted on any posting in uk.answers as it is
not a Big 8 hierarchy moderated by the *.answers moderation team. Once
he is satisfied, the poster will be directed to also gain approval for
posting to news.answers."
There, that was easy. ;)
