This has been an ongoing problem ever since the early days of
spam, when Cyber Promotions still existed and the AGIS backbone
went rogue. If you're an FAQ maintainer, get ready for a flood,
since your E-Mail address is posted both on the Web and in
multiple newsgroups.

I dealt with it by installing a Procmail recipe on my E-Mail
account that has been successful at weeding out over 90% of the
spam I receive, because many spam messages have a few things in
common. If you have access to Procmail, E-Mail me and I'll let
you know what I did.

If you don't have access to Procmail, then you'll probably need
to switch to one of those spam-free E-Mail services... I don't
know if the FAQ people will allow you to change your FAQ's
headers to include a fake E-Mail address or not.
