If it is propagating, it should show up in a day (or two) at the most.
I belive that RTFM runs a program once a day to add new postings so you
may have to wait for that to run.
The trick is that FAQ postings (if they are addressed to many
newsgroups) sometimes get swallowed up by spam filters at soome ISPs. I
gave up and now use the faq server for that reaso to post. The FAQ
server may take a coupple of days after you mail in the FAQ until it has
its next posting run, and then a day after that for RTFM to pick it up,
and then a while after THAT until you find it at the mirrors.
