to be worth repeating.

Filtering has never been a function of news.answers. The primary
function of news.answers is to increase the availability of
approved FAQ lists to interested readers, where "approved" merely
means "complies with the (minimal) header formatting guidelines."
Any broader function -- in particular, any review of content for
"officialness" or even appropriateness -- is simply unsustainable.

Supporting FAQ maintainers has never been a function of
news.answers, either. Getting an FAQ list approved for
news.answers requires more work, not less.

As we were discussing here just a little while ago, the notion of
"*the* FAQ list for a newsgroup" is a dangerous fiction.

If she submits a proper list, she will be recognized as a keeper,
as Nick indicated above.
