Ouch! Do you think maybe you misunderstood me a bit? :)

I did not omit that. In my original message I said:
>>Two other people I've never heard of before posted, one in her
>>support, one in mine.
The person who you refer to is the person who supported her (Ann's) position
that I did not belong there.

This is a direct quote from his post:

I did not say I could "claim any newsgroup that had been relatively inactive
for three months or more." What I said is:
>> Other than our FAQ for Spooky's RPG, there has been no
>> FAQ posted here in over eight months (FAQ's are
>> considered "dead" after three months).

I too did a search on that troll in google, back in April, and found that he
has a habit of posting offensively to many dead and dying newsgroups. My
friend said she found cross-posts. Is someone considered a "troll" only if
they post once?

That's interesting. Thanx for sharing. :)

A direct quote from the faq she posted:
>>Any posts are allowed, but if you think you're going to squat here
>>and excrete your foul RPG FAQ's all over this sacred space,
>>I'll... I'll.. I'll personally roast your wicked eyeballs on pewter
>>skewers over the eternal fires of the damned.

Thanx for the suggestion. I had given this consideration back in April and
hoped not to go that route. First, there are so many ng's with nobody using
them - I mean, what a waste! Also, even if I can get the thing approved (and
I understand that's quite difficult), until all the isp's start carrying the
thing, many people (possibly even me) won't be able to access it.
Thanx for your help,
-Nancy
