[faq-maintainers] Getting approval for an expansion

Okay. I've added two parts to my comics/xbooks/main-faq/
rec.arts.comics.marvel.xbooks FAQ. After two false starts
in submitting the thing to the FAQ-checker, I've finally
gotten my Eudora software to post it so it won't wrap the
lines of the Newsgroups: header.

Now it comes back asking me for approval from the moderator
of rec.arts.comics.info. Herein lies the problem.

I already have been posting other X-men newsgroup FAQs to
the rac.info group for the past couple of YEARS, and when I
took over *this* FAQ from Marty Blase (in June of 2000),
moderator Martin Wisse <mpwisse@ad-astra.demon.nl> gave me
permission to do so. I could autopost the FAQs via the
news.answers modbot, or do so manually. So it isn't as if
there's ever been any question of whether it's an "approved"
item for the group.

However, denizens of the rec.arts.comics.* groups have
just recently realized that my FAQs are the *only* things
being posted to the group. Martin's gone AWOL. We don't
know how long he's been gone. He isn't answering emails.
People are starting to consider asking Tale/Russ to approve
a new moderator (and actually emailed Russ and myself about
the moderation of the group).

So, in the middle of all of this, is there a snowball's
chance that I can get two additional parts approved for a
FAQ that has been posted in various forms to the rac.info
group for the past few years?

(I already submitted a list of the old and new headers and
subject lines for each part of the FAQ to the news.answers
request email address. Just so you know.)
