[faq-maintainers] Maintaining (somebody else's) FAQ

I wrote to the author of one of the particulary helpful qmail FAQs some
months ago, asking him would he post his FAQ, or would he allow me to do
so. He agreed to the latter.

What I would like to do would be to put my name in the post headers, and
put a BIG note at the front (or top) of the FAQ clarifying the
ownership, authorship, copyright. My address in the headers so no
bounces, no replies direct to FAQ author who I reason would not wish to
receive mail etc.

Is this the proper and conventional way to post the FAQ, or is there
some aspect of Netiquette I am missing ? Thank you.
