It happens. Don't let it bug you, but rest assured that such annoying
missives usually don't reflect the majority opinion. I have even been
flamed on a scouting group, apparently by someone who chose not to consider
the scout law. I have been mailbombed a couple of times by someone who
didn't like one of my FAQs. I think I have at least three email addresses
on every major spammer's list (which makes identifying spam easier, by the
way). I don't respond in kind, because I don't want to be like the vocal
and abrasive minority that does this. I'd much rather be like the few
people who have written to thank me for my helpful information or to offer
some updated information or contributions for a FAQ.
