I would have no problem putting up an interface on faqs.org that allowed
author/maintainers to submit, update, and manage their faqs posting.
Yes it would need to be passworded, etc. so that it would be private.
I have had a good deal of email in the past from people trying to
understand the process so they could get started.

I'd hate to see news.answers die because of bad timing for moderators.
If there is something I can do here to automate/reengineer the process
of managing *.answers postings then I'll gladly do it. I would need
a bit of help from the existing moderators to fully understand the
process they use (even though I have a pretty good idea). I'd also be
hoping that a developer or two on the list would like the access needed
to assist. ;)
