Re: keeping a roster

What I suggest that list maintainers do, if the machine hosting their lists
does not reside locally or otherwise give them a chance to do an offsite
backup, is to set up a periodic "SHOW MEMBERS" (or equivalent syntax)
command via email for each hosted list, with the results stored in a mail
folder somewhere handy (you can use Procmail for this). That way, if the
world ends, all hell breaks loose, and you find yourself out on the
cyber-street on short notice, you can always reconstruct your list as of
yesterday.
