Hi again.

Thanks to those of you who have given me their opinion.

Ofcourse, like Era said, the aim isn't to use SGML per sé. From what I'd
read, it just looked like it could deliver.
However, from the various answers and from what else I've found out, it
seems that it is far overkill.

By 'Easy' I meant something which can be adapted to suit my exact needs.
Once I've done that once, they'll be easy to use from then on. I know
I'm on a Win95 now, but I do remember what a command-line prompt is. I
seem to remember my firt programming compiler , Turbo Pascal version 3
(or was it 2?) was indeed command-line based.
Unfortunately, I was never too much exposed to the UNIX world. Even at
uni they kept us with (80286) PCs.... Mine wasn't an IT course.

Whuhuu. You really hurt me there ;-)

Yep. I installed a perl version ported to Windows/DOS and the SDF
program - I'll play with it and see where it gets me.
I have for some time been toying with the idea of installing LINUX (I
know - purists will say that LINUX is just a 'crappy' version of UNIX -
but AFAIK, it is the best 'port' of a solaris-type OS available for PCs-
No?) so maybe this will be the final drop that makes me take the jump.
Robert Kiesling be warned - he might see me in the Linux newsgroups.

Why don't you let Word number the sections, questions and create the
TOC?

The AScToHTM 3.0 application looks promising - that will probably be the
way I'll go for the time being.

Thanks again.

Morten.
