In alt.fan.harrison-ford, I post the FAQ every other Thursday, and my sig
also contains a pointer to the web version. On the Thursdays with no FAQ, I
post the New Users Guide, and the first thing it suggests is to read the
FAQ. It's helped keeped the Frequently Asked Questions to a couple from
newbies per month.

Originally, I had netiquette issues in the FAQ, but I don't think anybody
ever read that part. ;-) We had over-quoting issues like you wouldn't
believe! Creating a separate post for addressing netiquette helped a lot.

I also put the web version of the FAQ into two related web rings - this
page probably generates the most traffic to my site (hey, I *need* to win a
digital camera from Geocities!) In this account, I have two sigs, and one
of them points to the FAQ as well.
