Ditto alt.support.diet (my wife helps maintain the web site --
asd.dozer.com). I think this convention is becoming common on
newsgroups that develop into an on-line community (or newsgroups that
attract an existing community). The same was true when I used to
frequent the GEnie chatrooms (I hope I don't date myself too much here
;+}) and I'm sure its true on many other chat areas.

Paul Hilling was like:

PH> Alt.Tv.Xena has taken this just a little bit further, in that it has a
PH> Central Website. On which there are profiles of several of the posters
PH> to a.t.x. It also points out the more commonly used Usenet conventions,
PH> and also points to posters webpages, and also the FAQ. As a matter of
PH> course when a lurker, de-lurks they are directed to at least visit A.t.x
PH> Central.

Thanks,

allan
