Only 15% and 30% ? :-{
At one point, 60% of all non-cancel traffic was spam. However, it seems
to have gone down by about 40-50% from the peak. Then again, the peak
was just Kenny, so if he came back (as he has on several occasions),
we'd be right back in the hole again.
In order to make things usable again, you have to be aggressive in
pruning groups. We have 12 or so servers, 4-12Gb each. With cleanfeed
and a relatively restricted group set, it's not bad at all. Quite decent
expiration intervals - well over 7 days in many cases.
