Did your posts actually get canceled? I heard about the problem from some
guy in France who asked me about it, and forwarded one of the cancel messages.
I ran a search (Dejanews) on "mfrankow@winternet.com (Michael Frankowski)" and
discovered >8500 messages - presumably the all have the same message:

"Please cancel this article"

Doesn't it take more than posting a message to cancel an article?
AFAIK, my posts still remain, despite being "canceled." Looks like a prank.
I'll double check tonight...
