It's even odder than that. Only messages which arrive by email (sent
to news-answers-request or posted without approval headers) are ever
seen by the autoreply daemon. Since the messages had valid Approved:
lines, they should have gone straight to the newsgroups, but for some
reason they didn't. That's outside our control, but I apologize to
those maintainers who received autoreplies in error, and I've removed
the messages from the moderation queue.
