Congratulations on your new post with O'Reilly, Nancy.

There has been a new Internet Draft released recently that adds
new RFC 822 headers Supersedes and Expires which were originally in
the news RFCs (RFC 1036 and son-of-RFC 1036).

There has also been a lot of discussion in info.ietf about a
Location field for URL's, but because it would be used within MIME
body parts, it needs to be prefaced by Content-. Indeed, it has
been proposed to use the existing Content-type field and add a new
parameter for the URL.

I would highly recommend coordinating your efforts with the folks
behind the movements I've just mentioned, as far as practical. our
work may come under the realm of works in progress, or it may need
to become its own Internet Draft, or maybe it doesn't need to be
documented at all. But please look into it.
