I'm probably going to regret this, but given that this is at least the second
major complaint about these posts not being available (and the last one was
in September, of all the months that they should be available...), I'd like to
volunteer to take over posting them to news.announce.newusers and news.answers,
at least for the moment. I'm not sure if I want to take over actually
maintaining them (but I believe they've been low maintenence the last few
years), but I think it's very important that these be posted regularly.
Particularly given that AOL, Compuserve, etc. are about to swamp the net with
newbies.

I'd like to assume that the current versions of the six posts are already
approved by the news.answers folk, and so unless there are objections, I'll
post these this Thursday with an approval header.
