rb->Motorola makes microprocessors. A fellow wants to write a FAQ on a certain
rb->type of them. He works for the division of Motorola that manufactures and
rb->markets these devices.
rb->Is this a conflict of interest?
That depends. Certainly not for questions like "What is the register setup of
this chip".
For questions like "Is this chip better than Intel's", we cannot prejudge
a bias for the fellow; that's for him to figure out. For instance, I'm certain
that I could do a good job of reporting in an unbiased manner. Maybe he can,
too.
rb->Should he write the FAQ?
Okay by me. Very glad he wants to volunteer his work.
