I don't see that there's a problem at all here. Just because he works
for Motorola doesn't mean that he's going to be biased. In fact, it
might mean that the FAQ is more complete than it might otherwise be.
I maintain the COBOL FAQ. I work for Micro Focus. I've taken great
pains to make sure that the FAQ is fair to CA, mbp, Liant and anyone
else who gets mentioned in it (in fact, I've had e-mail from staff
working for some of our competitors thanking me for my efforts).
Also, if I hadn't written the FAQ, it's unlikely that anyone else
would have in the near future.
I'd say let him get on with it. If it turns out to be biased or
unfair, USENET and internet generally will see to it that things get
balanced out.
