In my opinion, as long as it is clear that he is working for M in the
FAQ, and he doesn't try to trash someone else's chips, etc. then it should
be fine. I believe I have seen a modem vendor maintaining a faq on their
products, and I think the Eiffel FAQ is connected in some way with the
folk who sell it, etc.
