You're in a small minority, then. I've had several people mail me to
say they received these as well and agreed that this behaviour is
unacceptable.

Junk email is on a level with junk faxes, and should be stamped out
before it gets a chance to become common.

I forwarded the message to this list because it seemed likely that my
name had been found by trawling *.answers. If so then the incident
would concern faq-maintainers, since we, its members, were these
bozo's targets. It turns out that my supposition was correct.

I'm afraid I don't have those documents available to me here, and I
don't have time to go looking through them to find the exact
paragraph.
