idea for news.answers "GPL"

This is not the opinion of two net.knowledgable lawyers I consulted. The
analogy both chose was book vs. movie rights.

I do not wish to discourage development of a general position. But my guess
is that opinions and wishes of FAQ writers will vary too widely to reach
consensus.

E.g., only one of three FAQs I publish is in news.answers or the archive,
and that is only because someone asked me to publish more widely. I
reformatted the headers etc. to confoirm, but start telling me what to write
or what rights I may claim on my personal product and you can stuff it. My
personal view is that a FAQ is for a small audience, and I have no real
desire for fame and fortune through FAQ writing. [ please note the
extensive use of the first person. i expect and grant that others will have
widely varying desires and opinions. qed. ]
