We have a 3 year old Cavalier king Charles spaniel. He is wonderful and we adore him.
We are having a problem with him. He is always licking anything and everything...walls, windows..floors, carpets, list goes on. Would anyone know how we might deal with this.
thanks

He may have allergies to the food he's eating.  My Lhasa used to do lick her paws constantly when it was suggested to me to switch to Canidae dog food.  Within a week, she stopped, I also noticed that she stopped scratching so much (she had dry skin too).  It's probably the food.

well one way you can stop him from licking things is to spray a none chemical apple spray which you can get at any shop that sells war head spray or go to a local pet store and pay a pretty penny for it

We Have a dog that licks anything and everything too.  It's just in his nature we haven't found out any way to stop it.  I think they just do it because they want to.

It might be because of your cleaner. Maybe if your cleaner tastes good to the dog, it will lick it. Try changing your house cleaner.
