First thing you have to do his to let the dog know you're is owner. To to that you need to control the way you feed him. Never leave a full bowl on the ground all day long. You feed him in the morning, just give him 10 min to eat, after that take the bowl away. To the same thing around super time. What ever you do don't over feed your dog ! At that point the dog will know that you're the Boss! And you see the results, he should be a good buddy. Don't let your dog exercise to much he's a little bit to young. You might avoid some injuries.

when i got jack i trained him when he had to go to the bathroom he would go to the door and bark then give him treats.he had a crate so soon as he left the crate he would go out to pee then get his treat.every time he drank water the same.when ever he woke up the same.when i went to bed no matter how late the same.he made mistake but hes only a little guy.i only corrected him if i saw him in the act.by 4months he was sat, heel, and come.never was harsh with him just the treats.take him out with you as much as possbile so hes use to sounds, other people and dogs.be good to him and he will be your bud.enjoy dana

I am very educated with dogs. I have been around dogs for many years now and know how to handle, care, and train them. If you are a Labrador owner, then more than likely you know alot about labs. Therefore, you should know that labs need alot of space to stay healthy and fit. They need alot of outdoor time and also need to spend time with their owners. Just keep them active and don't let them get over weight. Their average wieght is 75-90 pounds. I hope this article is useful.
