I have a nice 1 1/2yo female min. schnauzer that was given to us by a neighbor who has since died. He never gave us the papers for this dog. We know she has registered since he had a certificate for this dog. How do we go about getting her re-registered. I took her to a well known Vet in town and was told she is a pedigree dog, in good condition. Please help.

hi well if she has a tatto with a number on her belly or left ear then you can go to the AKC and find out if she is registered, That is the most easys way to go. Because like u said if you got the certificate to prove that she is pure then your best bet is to look in to going to the AKC club and find out OK. Hope that help u @ all.
