ok, so the Randall cook tetris cannot be had anymore, but if you DO have it, does anyone know the fastest MAC system that can run it with the sounds intact? I have had a Mac SE for quite the years, and my brother had this game from way back when, and I want to know, how fast of a mac can I get and still get the sounds?

I don't know. I've run it on an SE for the longest time, but as soon as I find a way to get it on the iMac I just brought home with OS 9.1, I'll let you know if it runs okay.

It's not the Mac hardware that is the issue, it's the operating system. The sound resource in Wesleyan Tetris stopped working somewhere around System 7.5.

Truth is, there is a really easy way around this. Use a program like "Mini vMac". I'm running Mini vMac version 2.6.1, with a Mac Plus ROM, System Software 6.0.8, and Obnox-tris on a 12" PowerBook G4. It runs perfectly. I'm glad I saved my copy from all those years ago. If only Randall Cook would let us distribute this thing. After this many years, it would have a niche following at best.
