Do Labs have a certain age where they can endure the cold weather?  If so what age.  We have a 10 Month old great retrieve, but in the duck blind he will not retrieve a duck he will only step one foot in the water when he realizes it is cold he will come back to the blind.  Please help!  All comments and knowledge appreciated.

Your baby is spoiled.  Just throw him and get him used to it.  Play games and make him go in.  He's a house potato which is why he knows if he shirks his job he can get out of it.  They not called a smart dog  for nothing!

Get his dog treats and throw them into the water, labs should love water, so your dog is messed up!
