what is the addictive drug in marijuana called and how do people increacse the potency of the drug?

There aren't any known addictive chemicals in marijuana. The main active chemical is called delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (usually referred to as THC, and is not addictive.) An increase of potency is obtained through better growing environments or through growing strains which are genetically geared toward producing more THC. Marijuana can also be refined into hashish, which is better for smoking (although more illegal) since less smoke must be inhaled to obtain the same effect as unrefined marijuana.

there really isn't any know addictive chemical the people are actully addicted to the feeling of being high
