That would probably be from a kennel that breeds the champions with the best bloodlines (which is all great) but if you're simply looking for a pet you should be able to find one for under $400 dollars. Try shelters first. You may find one there for under $200 dollars that's already sprayed/neutered.

You did'ntstate whether you wanted a pet, hunt,or show lab. So it makes a big difference in price you are paying for good quality dogs with caring breeders who test for hips, eyes, elbows, etc. If you are just looking for a pet then you should contact a Labrador rescue in your area. These dogs need homes too.

It all depends on if you want a purebred, a mut, a hunting dog, or a show dog.  I got a purebred from a man for 150 dollars.  She was 7 weeks.  Usually you can get purebreds for 500-1000 dollars, depending on who you get it from and how old it is.  A mut/pet you can get around 150-450 dollars, also depending on how old it is and who you get it from.  But if you want to give a sad dog a good home you should go to the animal shelter and find your perfect dog.  Money is no option when finding a dog and making it happy.

I got mine for $100.00 with papers, both parents on premises.  Breeder didn't really need the money.

Well I got mine for $500.00 without papers, (8wks old) From the same litter the other puppy were only $300.00 (they were not brown) So if you want it Chocolat, and if you can find one. You'll pay a little more!!! But they are so beautiful, and a great pet. Mowgli is so wonderful with our son, who has special needs.
