I am getting an 8 week old lab in a few weeks.  Since it is December and we are beginning snow season, how old does a lab puppy have to be before you bring it out in the snow?  If it is okay to bring them out at a young age, should you limit their time outside?

We just bought an 8 week old, male,  chocolate lab. How are they cared for? What do they eat? How do you acclemate a 12 year old male?
