This is something that you must decide on your own. Are you trying to be a vegon or just a vegetarian. I consider myself a vegetarian but i eat fish. If you want to consider yourself a vegan then all animal products are off limits! so throw the butter, milk, and cheese out the door..

I'm just becoming a vegetarian because i saw the photos of animals being slaughtered so that was enough to put me off it but i wouldn't believe myself as a vegan because I'm only 12,  so need the vitamins!!!!!!!! but i don't believe that cows or whatever should be like dry ed up from farmers milking animals so much cos so much milk, etc was drawn from them

You can have butter if you're a lacto vegetarian. By the way Keisha fish is meat. Fish die miserable deaths to feed you. You are no vegetarian at all.

You are allow to eat butter if you are a VEGETARIAN. But if you are a VEGAN you CAN'T eat ANY dairy products. BUT its up to you! It's your call......unless if you are Vegetarian or Vegan by your religion, you PROBOABLY should go under their/it's rules.
