I have a 1 year old Lhasa Apso thats going to have puppies.  I would like to know what to expect as how many puppies she might have?  she is not very big.  I have my vet. on hand for her delivery, but still worried as any mother would be.  Please give me some insight on my questions.

A Lhasa Apso that is 1 year old is too young to have puppies, for my opinion it is a puppy with a litter. To check out how many puppies she will have take a x-ray the last week. normally they have between 3-4 puppies.
check out my website for additional information at http://www.el-minjas.com and you click the puppies page and / or the genetica pages, good luck and best regards Frank
