I HAVE A VW JETTA GLI 2L 16V. I'M TRYING TO REPLACED THE BELTS. I'VE FOUND THE TENSION RELEASE OF THE ALT, AND A/C COMPRESSOR BUT I CAN'T FIND THE TENSION RELEASE FOR THE CRANKSHAFT PULLEY COULD YOU LET ME KNOW WHERE IT MAY BE AND IF THERE ARE PICTURES SO I WILL KNOW HOT TO DO IT. THAT WILL BE A BIG HELP.THANKS

The tensioner for the timing belt is halfway up the engine behind the timing cover. Once you have timed the camshaft, crankshaft and distributor, you have to undo the 13mm nut in the centre of the tensioner. It will then release the tension on the belt! Hope this helps
