is there anyway to turn off the daytime runing lights 2001 toyota tundra ivan stewart

There is a gray square plug on the driver side fender behind the battery.  Just unplug it.  Your running lights now only work off the dash board switch and don't come on automatically.  You probably have to remove the battery to get to this.
