why did organized religion decline during the late 1600's and early 1700's?

The organisation declined as the reformation caame to a close and the religious problesm of Britain settled. The quakers along with many other non-comformist churches declined during this period. However we, unlike some other non-comrformist churches, did not benifit as greatly from the religious revival of the 1800's.

Organized religion declined because people started daring to believe in other religions other than the most popular at the time which is the reason why they stated coming to America so they could believe and practice their own religion.

What kind of religions did they have in the 1600's? Christian, Lutheran?

The late 17th century was the beginning of the Age of Reason. The Scientific Revolution was also in place. People began thinking based on logic, and observations, and unfortunately, faith is often based on neither.

Religion declined in the 1600 because of the fact that god and jesus are all alod of crap!!
